Terminology Guide

VLT

Visible Light Transmitted

The percentage of visible light that passes directly through the film.

TSER

Total Solar Energy Rejected

The total solar energy rejected by the window film. The higher the value, the less solar heat is transmitted.

UV Block

Ultraviolet Protection

The percentage of harmful UVA and UVB rays blocked by the film (up to SPF 1000).

IRR

Infrared Rejection

The amount of solar infrared energy (heat) rejected over the wavelength range of 900–1000 nm.
